The JAZZ I AM showcases are an ideal platform to discover the quality and diversity of styles of the artists that make up the Spanish jazz scene. A small sample of a universe where jazz coexists and fuses with other genres, such as folk, flamenco, classical music or rock.
These 30-minute performances combine the originality, versatility and uniqueness of national jazz musicians.
An international jury made up of five professionals of different nationalities [meet them here] have selected the showcases programmed through an open call.
Below we present the selected artists and groups, as well as the winning band of the Plataforma Jazz España 2023 Award.
The guest country for this year’s Focus and the artists who will represent it will be announced very soon.
