Lucia Fumero trained as a pianist in Barcelona and Rotterdam. After releasing her debut album as a trio with original compositions, Universo Normal (Seed Music, 2021), she consolidated her artistic project with an extensive concert tour, performing at festivals such as the Athens Jazz Festival, Jazzaldía (Donostia), Getxo Jazz Festival, and Madrid Jazz Festival, among others. With her unique and original piano performance and composition, she won the 1st Prize at Juventudes Musicales de España and the Best Emerging Band Award from Jazz España. In 2024, she will release a new album: Folklore.

Folklore is the new project by composer, pianist, and singer Lucia Fumero, which stems from a process of exploration and research into her own musical roots and life influences. The foundation of her universe is rooted in folklore, enriched by her background in classical and jazz music. Interested in both songs with lyrics and instrumental music, Fumero expresses herself with rhythms marked by charisma and a unique personality.
