The OFF JAZZ I AM will run until Saturday, offering the audience the opportunity to discover the new generations of musicians trained at the Taller de Músics. In addition, the public will be able to participate in a co-creation meeting with free improvisation musicians from the European project I AM ABROAD. As a closing event, two concerts will be held by the XJAZZ! Barcelona.

I AM ABROAD is a European project promoted by Taller de Músics with the aim of strengthening the networks of improvised music in the European musical ecosystem. The initiative brings together nine free improvisation artists from Barcelona, Gothenburg and Vienna.
The project organises improvisation and co-creation sessions in different cities, providing a meeting place for musicians from different backgrounds. These sessions allow participants to share their creativity and explore opportunities for internationalisation.

Orbits
Orbits is a jazz-fusion collective forged in Barcelona’s eclectic music scene. Made up of international musicians, their sound blends electronic textures and jazz, paying tribute to the great fusion bands of the 60s and 70s. Its members have worked with renowned artists such as Jorge Drexler, Fatoumata Diawara, and La Mala Rodríguez.
Jaayology
João Thurnher, Jaayology, a Brazilian-Spanish DJ born in São Paulo, is known for his passion for creating unique soundscapes. Founder of Organikka, a community that supports independent musicians and artists, he has distinguished himself on the global scene with a musical style that fuses tropical rhythms, from Brazilian grooves to Balearic beats, disco, funk and soul. His sets are enjoyed in exclusive clubs and underground parties in cities such as São Paulo, Barcelona, London and Hong Kong.
