SOUND DIPLOMACY

With decades of experience in the music industry, Sound Diplomacy is a consultancy specialising in the intersection between music, the world of politics, and urban planning. They help governments to develop healthy music ecosystems which provide economic and cultural growth. Sound Diplomacy have offices in London, Barcelona and Berlin, and works for governments, cities, events, private companies and academic institutions in more than 20 countries.
The company has created and manages Music Cities Events, which includes Music Cities Convention, Music Tourism Convention and Sound Development.

AZUCENA MICÓ
Azucena Micó is a Senior Project Manager at Sound Diplomacy, where she has coordinated some of the company\’s largest projects. He works on musical city strategies for city governments such as San Francisco, Vancouver or Huntsville (Alabama) and coordinates the development of a strategy for the United Nations (UNIDO) to strengthen Cuba\’s music sector. She also works with the Institute of Culture of Barcelona and teaches at Blanquerna Master\’s Degree in Production and Cultural Communication.
JORDI PUY
Jordi Puy is co-founder and head of Sound Diplomacy. With more than twenty years of experience in artistic and musical management, he was the director of the Catalan Arts export office in the United Kingdom and Ireland, working on the creation and implementation of export strategies for music and the arts for the Generalitat de Catalunya. As head of Sound Diplomacy, Jordi Puy has co-directed the creation of Unison, a new rights management model based on the principles of efficiency and transparency through technology.
