El Principio (Self-released, 2020) is the first work as a leader by jazz saxophonist and composer Alba Alsina. The album presents eight personal and biographical scenes that the artist has sought to capture by fusing her jazz language with flamenco rhythmic roots and electronic elements. With this work, the saxophonist invites the audience to travel to her personal universe through the sound of her saxophone alongside the contemporary flamenco dancing of Aina Núñez, a member of the LaboratoriA project and Rosalía’s choreographer.
