Also known as Mary\u2019s Canticle, it has inspired centuries of sacred music and reflection.<\/p>\n<p>This concert is conceived as a prayer for the salvation of peoples, for peace, and for the brotherhood and sisterhood of all humanity. Performed in Italian, English, and Arabic (Darija dialect) \u2014 the mother tongue of Badrya Razem, an Italian artist from Bari with deep Mediterranean roots \u2014 the program gives voice to a universal invocation of peace.<\/p>\n<p>Badrya embodies Mary\u2019s voice, calling for peace within each individual and among peoples, beyond borders and walls. Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.<\/h3>\n<p>The Basilica de la Merc\u00e8 in Barcelona will host <em>Magnificat<\/em>, a deeply spiritual concert centered on Mary\u2019s canticle from the Gospel of Luke \u2014 a song of gratitude, liberation, and hope.<\/p> <p>The <em>Magnificat<\/em> is a canticle from the first chapter of the Gospel of Luke, in which Mary praises and gives thanks to God for freeing her people. Also known as Mary\u2019s Canticle, it has inspired centuries of sacred music and reflection.<\/p> <p>This concert is conceived as a prayer for the salvation of peoples, for peace, and for the brotherhood and sisterhood of all humanity. Performed in Italian, English, and Arabic (Darija dialect) \u2014 the mother tongue of Badrya Razem, an Italian artist from Bari with deep Mediterranean roots \u2014 the program gives voice to a universal invocation of peace.<\/p> <p>Badrya embodies Mary\u2019s voice, calling for peace within each individual and among peoples, beyond borders and walls.
