Irene Reig Trio was formed 5 years ago in Barcelona and now is in the process of producing their first album, in fact, in JAZZ I AM Online 2020 the trio will be presenting some of this new music. The repertoire will be based on their own versions of their favourite jazz standards, including innovative arrangements and originals songs by Irene.

Irene Reig stands out as a representative of the new Catalan generation of Jazz musicians and she has consolidated her position as saxophonist and composer on the current European jazz scene. She’s characterized by her energy, passion and spontaneity
