Flutist Marisole De Pascali moves between improvisation, contemporary music and new music. She presents her project, Fera (Parco della Musica Records, 2022), with which she won the Top Jazz 2022 award from Music Jazz Magazine as New Italian Talent.

Seamlessly, Fera’s compositions alternate between sound objects, electrical impulses and mechanical behaviours, in search of a brief phosphorescence, a friction between oneself and a mobile space, lyrical but not rhetorical, with reminiscences from jazz to chamber music, up to rock.

Starting from the expressive and compositional possibilities of the flute, De Pascali’s work is extended to an unprecedented formation with luxury components.
