Landscape Songs (Segell Microscopi, 2023) is a work in trio format that brings together a compilation of compositions ranging from the most contemporary jazz, through pop-rock, to folk. A palette of colours make up this soundscape devised by the saxophonist Roser Monforte, accompanied by the solid and propulsive drummer Jordi Pallarés and the brilliant guitarist Pau Mainé. Together, they form a triangle of sounds that intertwine and dialogue with each other. They invite the audience on a journey through this soundscape, which ranges from calmness and subtlety to frenetic rapture.
