Rosana Corbacho
A conversation with… is a space for dialogue and reflection on the current challenges of the music industry, approached from a close and personal perspective.
In this edition, the guest is Rosana Corbacho, a clinical psychologist specialised in the music sector, who will be in conversation with Karolina Juzwa, President of Europe Jazz Network, about some of the most common challenges faced by musicians and music professionals, with a special focus on mental health.
The session will address issues such as precarity, work pressure and abuse of power — realities present in the music ecosystem that are often normalised or left out of the conversation.
With a welcoming and participatory format, the activity will also open a space for dialogue with the audience, inviting attendees to share questions, experiences and reflections.
A space to give voice to shared realities and contribute to a more conscious and sustainable music environment.
Rosana Corbacho
Rosana Corbacho is a clinical and humanistic psychologist specialised in the music industry, with more than 15 years of experience supporting artists, music professionals and creative teams.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with organisations such as Spotify, Believe, Live Nation and Berklee College of Music, and has been a speaker at international events including Primavera Sound, Reeperbahn Festival, ADE and BIME. In 2022, she received the Keychange Inspiration Award in recognition of her work.
She is the founder and CEO of M.I. Therapy, a clinical team specialised in the physical and mental health of professionals in music, the arts and the creative industries, working to promote a healthier and more sustainable cultural environment.
Karolina Juzwa
Karolina Juzwa is a cultural manager and President of Europe Jazz Network, one of the leading professional networks in the European jazz sector.
She is currently the coordinator of the Wytwórnia Foundation and co-curator of projects such as the Summer Jazz Academy Festival and the International Jazz Platform, an educational programme for professional musicians.
She is also co-creator and co-leader of the European project Better Live, focused on developing more sustainable models for international artistic mobility and promoting responsible practices within the music sector.
