This year the spaces for meetings between artistic directors, programmers, managers, and artists are being taken to another level with a new format which is much more dynamic, closer, and more enjoyable than the traditional speed meetings. They are called MeeThePro and consist of short 30-minute presentations by artistic directors of international festivals and clubs.
After the presentations, a relaxed space will be created off stage so that the attending managers, musicians, or promoters can approach the artistic director most suited to their project and have the opportunity to build relationships and alliances.
MeeThePro fulfils one of the principal objectives of JAZZ I AM: to create a space for exchange in order to develop collaborations between local and international professionals. The reduced size and intimate nature of JAZZ I AM will ensure that you can easily make contact with other participants over the three days of the event.
MeeThePro will take place on September 9 and 10 from 4:15 PM to 6:15 PM. Each day there will be two sessions lasting one hour. Each of these sessions will have as guests programmers and artistic directors of festivals from an specific country or region.
Participants will only be able to register on one of the days and will have access the two sessions taking place that day.
Only full pass attendees and a representative of showcases artists will have free access to this new activity, which will bring together about twenty programmers and fifty artists and/or representatives. Please note that seating is limited, and requests will be confirmed in order of receipt.
